In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre traveled to Lucca, Italy, to visit family. Upon their return to their hometown of San Francisco, they brought back a treasure: handwritten recipes that would become the foundation for their authentic flavored syrups. These syrups played a crucial role in reintroducing Italian soda to their local community. As the years passed, their innovative syrups also contributed to the creation of the world’s first flavored latte!

To this day, we proudly remain a family-owned business, honoring the high-quality standards set by Rinaldo and Ezilda over nine decades ago. Every syrup, sauce, and smoothie we produce is crafted with meticulous care and a deep sense of pride. This commitment to quality is a promise from our entire family, which includes over 100 dedicated members of the Torani team.

Our journey began with just five distinct syrups.
